IMPROVING
YOUR ENGLISH
There are plenty of other ways to improve your English than a traditional classroom. That's why you're here! During your time with the PLUS Program, here are some ways to improve your English outside of your English classroom:
1. Speak, speak, and speak some more! You are on a campus where everyone has a common goal: to improve their English! Practice speaking English with other students, with your group leader, and of course, with our PLUS staff members. When you are on excursions, practice speaking English with the people you meet.

2. Keep a journal (or a note on your phone) of new vocabulary words. While you are studying here, you will see new vocabulary words every day, both inside and outside the classroom. Write them down! Then, try to use the new vocabulary words during conversations.

3. Attend the Conversation Hour on campus. We often have a Conversation Hour during the evenings. During this hour, you can practice your conversational English skills with your peers and a PLUS staff member. For more details, please ask your Campus Operations Manager.
